This Club focuses on legislative issues affecting women and minorities in Florida. Awareness of current bills are taught, discussion on their impact, and advocating for better is reviewed. Activities like trips to Tallahassee to speak with legislators, grassroots campaigns, and messaging to spread awareness are done in an open, friendly, for the people club environment. Review the State website and join the local club to make an impact.

Sometimes connecting the dots is tough but all issues are women issues. The bills passed affect health, education, our environment, the jobs avaliable, and so much more. We have a stake in this so join in Advocating for a better future for you and your family.We review bills, ways to advocate, and have special guest regularly such as DEC leaders, NAACP members, and more. We are an active democracy forward group as you can see in the pictures. We have:1- Grassroots Petition Collection Drives at local Free family friendly events.2- Meetings and Fundraisers at local restaurants. A major 2023 fundraiser had speeches from multiple candidates for office.3- Attend Convention and Galas4- Frequently have local leaders as honored Guest Speakers.5- Promote Education and Outreach.We know your opinion is valid so share it with a group of like-minded friends. JOIN.
This year's slate of Session bills and special session reviews seem to be a tidalwave of change but don't worry. Your friends at the DWC of Titusville will work through it with you. ZOOM meetings allow different State leaders to breakdown the affects of coming bills and allow you to ask your key questions. As a member you can choose to dive into legislative issues as a Liason. Don't worry if you have other strengths you can exercise those skills instead. All are welcomed.
